Orange you glad I didn't say banana?

Knock knock.
Who's there?
Orange.
Orange who?
*see title of this post*
^Clearly this should have been the joke I used for an extra 5 points on my Perspectives on the Individual midterm today. Yes, for extra credit my teacher asked that we write a 'good' joke. I couldn't think of a single one! And if I had thought to use this one, I think it's safe to say that this would have been deemed good. Right? Right.
Speaking of orange...here's what I wore to school today:
*I love the idea of wearing a cardigan underneath a short sleeved dress to keep warm on these chilly fall days! I try to switch it up between wearing a cardigan over a dress, buttoned and unbuttoned, the ends tied in a knot, or underneath the dress altogether as shown here.*
I'm beyond obsessed with not only the peter pan collar (big surprise, I know) but the back bib of this cardi. It looked great flapped over the dress, I thought. And these new green tights are my fave -- thanks Target! :)

Outfit deets: Coat - Metro Park; Dress - Forever 21; Cardigan, headband - ModCloth; Mary Janes - Lulu's
~Moving on~
Today I thought of YOU: Michelle, Kiser & Kenyon, Natty, Paige, Stephie, Jen, Laura, Morgan, Kipp, Jp, Jon, Chappie, Jack and SO many others! I miss you all so much and think about you religiously. Today I played this song (it's safe, click the link!) and thought of your lovely faces because you all are"so beautiful"
The song, which is called "Friends" by Band of Skulls is a fun, good time song that I blast every time I hear it. I love this line: "Everyone that I miss when I'm distant, everybody is here" <--that's the part where I point to my heart. *cheesy alert!* :)
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week and if anything super serious comes up, remember this:
For me, there's [almost] nothing chocolate cake, an ice cream cone...who am I kidding, a pint of ice cream, and other delicious treats, can't fix.
Sweet dreams, friends. I love you all, even those of you that I forgot to mention.
*hugs all around*

Love,
Roni

  1. That is an AWESOME idea! I tend to by my cardis pretty snug so I think they'd fit perfectly under a sleeveless dress. I am super excited to try it out now. I'll have to post you a pic when I do. Thanks for sharing your tricks chickadee!
