Good, Bad, Ugly

Crop top: Forever 21// Skirt: Target// Cardigan: Express// Brogues: ModCloth

I've been meaning to give this "good, bad, and ugly" feature a try after seeing it as a regular series on Corinne's blog, Life Etc... I love when she does these! Definitely check her blog out if you haven't; she's a doll. Okay, so here goes:
The Good: All the rain we've been having! Going to bed to the pitter-pattering sound of drops hitting the window and waking up to it is simply the best.
The Bad: Having to take outfit photos indoors. As if I didn't loathe that enough, Mikey wasn't able to be my photog this day and I had to set up the tripod all by me self.
The Ugly: These photos. Judging by the first picture, I'm not very good at this - too much ceiling! And wow, I couldn't even move that Bed Bath & Beyond 'art' before I started the timer each time?! How'd I not catch that? Aaannndd look at my crinkled, wrinkled skirt!! Horrid. Just wow.

Okay so that was fun! Although, I didn't nearly go off on the kind of comical tangent Corinne does, which is what makes reading hers so entertaining. I'll have to try this again in the future. Thanks for the idea, Corinne!
If you haven't done so already, please leave any questions you have for me so I can make a vlog post answering them next week! I'll answer pretty much anything within reason :)
Have a wonderful weekend, lovelies!

    1. I don't really have any beauty or hair secrets, that I can think of since I'm a pretty boring and clueless person when it comes to both, but I will share what my daily getup for both since you asked :) Thanks, Corrine!

  5. thats a fun idea. I might have to snatch that from you as well as those shoes. :) I'm all for falling asleep to rain but man it sucks going to work in the rain. I just want to stay in bed until the rain stops and still get paid. Is that too much to ask for?

    1. Not too much to ask for at all. In fact, why can't we start a petition for this wonderful idea?
You can borrow the shoes all you want. Let's just be neighbors already, puhlease!

  10. I think they are pretty good indoor tripod photos! I can't do outfit photos without my trusty other half cause I never get good focus with a tripod. Also your lacey top is so cute!

    1. Hahaha I'd love you to carry me around! :D
Oooh, Grease! I just LOVE Grease! I can dig that comment. ;) LOL Umm...I do the Hyacinth impression when I'm alone or with family; I'm not sure I have the guts to do it in front of a camera for strangers. I might be a bit silly looking/sounding hehe but I'm already planning to do the video after a couple glasses of wine to be more relaxed, so who knows what I'll do! I'd love to hear your voice!! Please do a video, please, please, pretty please! ♥

  13. This is such a fun idea. I will have to check out her blog. It rained here last week and it was so nice. It had been way too long. I hate taking photos with tripods - it's all I use for my outfit photos practically but I still haven't mastered it. I am also always forgetting to check the photos for random things in the background, etc. Blah. Oh well. Your photos still look super cute regardless. I love the primary colors in the outfit and the lace top is so pretty on you :]

    1. I didn't know you used your tripod primarily. Yours are great! Perfect, in fact. So I'd say you're definitely being hard on yourself, missy. Your pictures aren't mostly sky or off center. You get great head to toe shots (now I'm just jealous that I'm not as good so I'm ranting...haha). Anywhooo, thanks for noticing my primary-crayons-box tribute, Allison ;)
