Ain't nobody got time for that

Things have been crazy busy here. With school mostly. I can't even tell you how many books/plays I've been reading a week (in the whole almost-month we've been back to school, ha! I'm such a weenie). The next time my professors assign homework, I just wanna respond with crazy eyes and "Ain't nobody got time for that!" (I love all the memes & parodies for this video - hilarious!)
I have a chunk of deadlines to meet, for school and non-school related projects. I do apologize to my friends that I've kept waiting for stuff from me. I haaate making people wait and I feel horrible when I don't do something in the time I said I'd do it, e.g. not having my vlog posted by Friday...or Saturday...or Sunday. One day this week Mikey will show me how to edit the thing so it's not the length of a tv show.
Dress: F21// Bag, Seychelles pumps: ModCloth// Flower clip: Ruche
I really should have painted my toenails before I photographed these feet, but I direct you to this post's title.
This is what I wore to school a couple weeks ago after I'd seen a few of my blog friends wearing one of my favorite color combos, yellow & green. I felt inspired to do the same. Granted I wore mustard and green, but whatevs. It was my "summer is about to meet fall" tribute. ;)
I hope your weeks are going swell, my friends. Sweet dreams <3

  1. OMG I am in love with that dress, you have the cutest dresses. "Aint Nobody Got Time For That" is hilarious. I dropped the line the other day and my friend looked at me weird. I cant believe that she had never heard of it before.

    1. Thanks, Francesca. I got your other comment but for some reason it didn't show up here. I have no idea why my blog does that sometimes. I appreciate your kind words though and for you stopping by again. :)

  12. Besides the fact that your style is amazing and you're from SA, I love coming to your blog because you always make me laugh! I LOL at the part about your toenails and seriously went up to the title and read "Aint nobody got time for that!" HAHA! I completely feel you. I'm bad about my toes but even worse about shaving the legs before wearing dresses and skirts. Love the green dress and the mustard shoes are perfect with it!

    1. You are the best! I love my fellow Texans. ♥ Haha and I'm always happy to give Miss Trice a laugh ;D I usually do paint my toes, but not as often as I paint my nails (every three to four days). The toes get abandoned sometimes, I must say. hehe But they're not always being shown off so it's okay. Oh, I hate having to shave my legs everyday. Definitely ain't got no time for that so I just skip a couple days and hope no one notices! Hey, my hairs don't grow in too dark ;)
Thanks for the funny/sweet comment, as always dollface.

  14. yeah I never have time to paint my toenails either or my fingernails. I mean its just gonna peel off in a matter of minutes so whats the point? Moving on. Can I just tell you how much I love this color combo and how much I am gonna copy it next weekend. yep thats gonna happen for shizzle.

    1. I actually am pretty good about the finger nails. It's those damn toes that always chip after thirty seconds that I don't wanna bother waisting my time with.
Copy away! xo Just try not to look too much better than me. Feelings might be hurt. ha

  15. Gorgeous!!!! Green and gold look so pretty on you. They were my high schools colors, wahooo. Haha. I don't even bother painting my nails for that very reason. It chips off way too fast and then I just don't care to fix or remove it. Major props to ladies who have their nails done all the time. I hope school is going well. Reading plays sound fun, but very time consuming for sure.

    1. Thanks, Allison! And how funny, green and gold were my high school colors, too! :)
I tend to my nails fairly often but my toe nails are always neglected. Shoes and socks always take the nail polish off so fast and I just don't have time for that either. Plus there's no way I can and would even spend money on pedis right now. They're much too expensive and they take forever! I'm like, "Um..can you speed it up I got somewhere to be".
The plays are good! But that first one was a doozy with all that stage direction. :)
