Summer school

[Flashback: A post from when my cousin Mercedes was visiting town.]
I didn't take any classes this summer but I did find myself playing and having picnics in the backyard of the mansion at my uni several times. I know I share plenty of pictures of Fairleigh on the blog, but whenever Mikey & I have visitors, I just have to let them see the campus in person, especially the calm and lush backyard. My cousin and I spent a couple hours here this day, touring the mansion, talking and listening to country music (while I cooled my feet off in the fountain). By the time we were walking the path back to my car, she was dead set on coming to school here. D'awww
Mercy lookin' so purrty :)
I purchased this camel and white gingham dress from Crush Vintage back in June and while it needs to be taken in a little, a belt works for now and it's become one of my favorite summer dresses!
teenagers and their cell phones...

hands down the most awkward and uncomfortable pose ever!

    1. Lol that pose was so terrible! I climbed up and you can see the railing is at a slant so my body naturally was getting weighed down while I tried to hold/balance myself up and in place with just my elbows. It so wasn't worth it haha but maybe it was if you like it. :)
      Thanks, Allison ♥

  3. Mmm, that fountain looks so refreshing. My little town has no where to dip my feet! I like the little flowers on your gingham dress. :)

    1. Aww that stinks. I love driving around where we live to discover new towns. There's so many cute ones nearby. Maybe you have some near you where you can dip your feetsies! ;)
And hey, good eye. I forgot to take some pictures of the little flower embellishments on the dress. :))

  4. Raining? It's like 102 degrees here! If you crack an egg it would fry mid-air and not eve have a chance to hit the pavement!
Oh, Roni, you look so amazing! Looks like you're back in full force with so much dedication and I have yet to get to responding to all your lovely comments!
I love this dress on you and the bow in your hair is perfection! That first picture of you in the classroom is divine! How is it that the chairs color match so perfect to your accessories/shoes? Sometime things are meant to be!
I have been meaning to ask you...will you ever do a post on all your tattoos...I've been considering getting my first for a while now so was hoping for some inspiration/information.
Hope you have a great Thursday! Keep smiling!

    1. hahaha Sounds like the heat here in NC! It's hot as balls!

Aww, thank you Dana, my love! You are soooo sooo sweet. Don't worry about it. I leave like book long comments so I don't always expect them to get responded to; I know you see them :) And haha right! I thought the chairs matched perfectly as well! I didn't even plan it. It was outfit photo fate. lol

I actually haven't thought about doing that, only because I have so freakin' many. It would need to be broken up into, probably about 4 posts. Sheesh. But I could answer or give you info on any you'd like! I can email you :) I love tattoo talk, especially if you're considering getting your first! I just went with my friend Lissi to get her first. It was so much fun. Almost like I was in the labor room with her while she was pushing. haha She got one on her foot and was squeezing the shit out of my hand. I thought she'd break it in a few places before it was over. But anywho, I'm so curious as to what you've got in mind and where on your body aka canvas! ;)
Have a wonderful weekend, friend! xo

    1. I have just realized just how much I love gingham lately as I review some of these outfit photos. It's such a great, classic print.
The school grounds were designed by the same man who designed Central Park in NYC! No wonder it's so gorgeous!
Thanks for the comment, Rachel :)
