Carolina Beach Boardwalk

Hey guys, so you guessed it, we're road trippin' once again. During the summers, I don't think we're in Jersey longer than two weeks at a time before we set off for our next adventure. Wednesday night aka Thursday morning at about 2 am we decided to drive to Wilmington, North Carolina to spend a week with my mother-in-law. My sister-in-law is here too and these past two days have been a blast. Yesterday we all took a short drive over to Carolina Beach and spent the evening on the boardwalk watching a fabulous cover band while eating cheese pizza, drinking beers in koozies (when in Rome), and of course I had yet another funnel cake. It's honestly unreal how many funnel cakes I've eaten this summer. I go balls to the wall because I can't get them anywhere else, any other time of the year. But boardwalks is where they're at..and I've been to like, five boardwalks this summer. Oh yeah, Funnel Cake Queen here. Seriously, where's my sash?
I really don't think I could be friends with someone who didn't like funnel cakes.
Dress: ModCloth (mega old, but one of my absolute faves)// Shoes: Old Navy
Bag: Kate Spade Ruby Street Little Kennedy aka Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice!
A little sloppy, but I do my nails every three-ish days; I liked this set a lot.
I hope you ladies are having a fantastic weekend! Lots of love to y'all.

P.s. You can still enter my little giveaway, if you haven't. It closes...August 24th, right?..Yeah that's right.

    1. Oh, Francesca you are missing out! If you are a fat kid at heart, funnel cakes will be your new weakness.
And girl, this bag has been worn about fifty times since it was purchased! I'm making it worth Mikey's money! haha

  4. Sounds like you're having a fun summer! Funnel cakes are so good. I know you can buy them at the grocery store and make them at home but it's not the same.

    1. Indeed I am! This is the first summer I've actually taken advantage of summer activities! I was telling my husband that today. The beach and days at the pool have been simply wonderful. I really need to do this every summer. :)
And thank you SO much for the tip! I had NO idea grocery stores sold them!! My eyes damn near popped out of my head when I read your comment. haha I'm definitely going to try it out, even if it's not the same as the extra greasy goodness that fairs and boardwalks have them.

  5. You are so cute it's stupid. Seriously. You are stealing it from everyone else. But on to my less jealous comment, I LOVE your dress and yes, I agree about funnel cakes. If you're ever in Indy, we should split one. That would be awesome. I haven't had enough this year. I could deal with a few more.

I love that your nails match too! You're just cool all around.

    1. LOLOL! Thanks...I think. ;) Kidding. You're the sweetest, Vi. You're a doll yourself and you know it! I'm uber fond of you dude. So fond that I'd split a funnel cake with you in a second. No second thoughts about it and trust me, I'm a funnel cake hog. But yes, I'd totally share with you. :)
Thanks for the cutest comment. ♥

    1. Yup they were! Apparently Wilmington is like the #3 main spot for movies to be filmed, with Hollywood of course being the #1 and I think NY #2. Jennifer Aniston was here this week! I was so hoping to see her. :)

  9. I heard Wilmington is such a sweet quaint coastal town. It's about five hours from where I am located, I would love to make it out there one summer. I love the pictures, especially the one with you holding the funnel cake and I love the dress.. perfectly fitting!
