This couldn't have been more true when I finished watching Lost (and Saved By the Bell in the 90's). Something in me has never been the same.

It's the 90 year old in me that would much rather sleep. Don't take it personal.

I hope y'all are having a great start to your week. My friend Ashley and I are planning to finally see "Think Like A Man" today - I hope we get to! If not, I'll be watching True Blood all day...or sleeping :)

  1. So let me break down what just happened! I'm at school right now and my students are diligently working on their assignment so I figured I'd use this time to read a few blogs. I click on yours and started reading the "Case of the Mondays" quotes that you have so graciously posted (following me?)i chuckled at the first few because I can totally relate, then I get to the one about what people do when there's a knock at the door and I LAUGHED OUT LOUD because I'm totally the ninja!!! My students looked at me like this O_o! So funny! Thanks for making my Monday!

  2. Completely agreeing with 314. It's the best thing knowing that you will not look like Alice Cooper after rubbing your eyes. Or that moment when you know the day is done and you care not about your makeup so you are free to rub and scratch at your eyes and make yourself look terrible. Best thing ever :P :P

    1. I know!! There is just this awesome feeling of relief when I rub my eyes excessively, knowing I don't have any mascara or liner on. Usually I rub them and then have a brief freak out moment wondering if I've smeared anything; when I realize I don't, I'm just like "ahhhh" and rub away some more. :)

    3. Heheh :) I think we'd get along so wonderfully. Ah, why can't we all be closer?!?! I envision so many nights of laughter, funny television shows, and hot chocolate.

  5. Haha, that last one totally applies to me. I'm really an old lady trapped in a 28 year old's body.

  6. Bahahha oh. my. God. I loove these quotes! The no make-up/rubbing your eyes thing? Yep. Totally didn't wear make-up at all last week and there was much triumphant eye rubbing!

Having so much to do and deciding not to do anything because its all so overwhelming? 2-3 times a week.

The crush walking into a room and your friend sooo acting NOT COOL...hilarious. Because I think I'm that friend.

This just made me so happy!

    1. Triumphant eye rubbing - I shall steal this. :)
Omg, that "deciding not to do any of it" is SO me. Unfortunately.
I love that Simon Cowel/James Franco poster! I die laughing every time because it's so spot on to the way those situations have gone down in the past.

Glad it made your Monday! :D

  10. Absolutely love these Roni! Definitely related pretty closely to most of them haha. I'm so bad for getting wrapped up in tv series & not having a clue what to do afterwards. Also admittedly the 1% who does the paranoid ninja crawl haha...

Hope you've having a lovely week girly! :)

    1. I'm glad y'all enjoyed these. They certainly made me lol a ton! The tv one is so big with us, too! We always get so committed with our shows that when they finish we're like, "Um...next?" lol And I'm sooo glad I'm not the only paranoid Patty that does the ninja crawl when someone rings the doorbell! hahaha
Thank you, have a lovely week yourself!

  11. Ahahaha. This list made my day. I can relate to it all. I am definitely the 1% when it comes to the door bell ringing. I watched one too many episodes of csi. I also get kind of excited when plans get cancelled - I liked to be a hermit. Hope you get to that movie!! Or enjoy sleeping and true blood.

    1. :)) Oooh, CSI is so addicting! Ash and I didn't get to watch the movie, unfortunately, but we'll get to it eventually...probably on dvd lol. But Mikey and I have been taking many a mid-day naps, since it's been so rainy here. :)
