Oh, this Dahlia dress is one of my absolute favorite little numbers in my closet. I've worn it to school, weddings, the grocery store...it's perfect for any event, no matter how extravagant or low-key. I love that it can be worn causally (as shown here) or sans the tights & oxfords, replacing them with high wedges and a chunky necklace. I don't really remix it too much since the dress is lovely enough to stand alone.

ReplyDeleteMe, too! All-occassion dresses just make having spent all the money feel so worth it! This is such a multi-use dress and it wasn't cheap so I feel I've already gotten my moneys worth. ;) And really, you can make practically any dress wedding-ready by just adding the right accessories, high heels, and having your hair in a nice updo.

And you know, we tried to start watching that show but we couldn't make it past the first 5 minutes of the first episode. But then I watched like 5 episodes at my sister-in-law's the other day and I loved it! I think Mikey and I should give HIMYM another shot and just skip the first ep. :)

But you pull off everything you wear in your shots. Also, sitting around watching TV shows all day is one of my favorite things to do. It sounds like me and Grant's Saturday except for we just watched a TON of Raising Hope :P

I like the color of the dress, too. I love the earrings, like seriously love them. I was talking with my niece, trying to decide what my style is and I think it's a mix of edgy/classic cool. Those earrings are right up my alley!

Dresses, won't happen til the summer time, and it's too hot for that. lol I was thinking about like leggings, a great sweater, flats and hoop earrings, like Holly GoLightly. If I do dresses, they have to be short, because I am and that makes me look taller.
