From where I stand/sit...

So much green!
School just looked so beautiful today. I had to stop and take pictures.
And I call this my favorite path. It leads to the mansion where I've had at least one class every semester.
I needed to finish reading a couple short stories before class started later in the day, so I took a seat in an empty, dark room near the window where the sun was coming in, giving me just enough light to read without straining my eyes. I could hear the water making bubbly noises from the fountains two floors below and snapped a couple more pictures. The view from the third floor of the mansion's backyard is just so lovely. I could live here, I swear.
I hope you each find simple beauty in the places you see every day.
Have a terrific Tuesday!

  1. I love how the green seemed to have popped up over night. Sometimes it's hard to appreciate the beauty in the places you see everyday, you have to take yourself outside of yourself..if that makes sense lol but it's important.

    1. It really did seem as though it popped up over night! And yeah, I can admit that I take a lot of things like that for granted, but not for a second do I take seeing my school for granted. It's so strange that it's sort of just always exceptionally charming to me. I've taken buttloads of pictures of it because I appreciate the aesthetics of it so much. But yeah, I know exactly what you mean. :)

  5. Spring has sprung where you are too Roni! It's exciting to think that a warm summer hangs in the wings and I have a feeling you are already planning your wardrobe! You are a true fashionista - with a technicolour, vibrant sense of style. Thanks for your sweet comments Roni - I really appreciate them. Enjoy the springtime and have a wonderful week my little friend.

    1. Indeed it has! I was really happy that these pictures portrayed what I saw exactly as it was. I hate when pictures do something no justice. Still, the campus is better seen in person. :)
Thank you for all your nice words, Lyn. It's so wonderful to hear from you. I actually didn't even finish catching up on your blog as I had to write a paper (boo!), but I will finish reading if it kills me. :) I just love your blog. It makes me feel...human...or something. haha I can't explain it. Have a lovely rest of your week as well. ♥

  6. Your school grounds are aboslutely beautiful! All the colour is coming out as well because of spring! Where I am is beautiful but perhaps in a different way. It's perhaps not as green, but it's on the docklands so there is lots of water around and Canary Wharf is lit up during the evening which is just lovely to look at :). xx

    1. Thank you, Sarah. It's always been a dream of mine to visit your part of the world. Since I was a child I said I wanted to live in either New York or England. Well, I'm right outside NYC now and I visit there so often that it feels like home just as well. Now I need to try out your digs. :)

    1. :) It's just too easy to pull out the cell phone and start snapping pictures. I just want to remember the way I loved this campus so, during all its seasonal changes.

  10. what a pretty garden space. My campus was pretty ugly compared to that. I think we had maybe two plants out "courtyard"
